Some notes from folks who stayed in Savanna at the Blue B&B
“ What a great place! This was our second time staying here. It's the perfect spot for a fun Savanna (and area) weekend. You can walk to a ton of cool restaurants and bars. Tony gave us lots of great suggestions. I love this town and this B&B. I'll be back!" Lauren
“ Back to the Home for Wayward Saints! If you want greasy – delicious, go to Manny’s. If you want great hospitality, stay right here! Signed Travelin Girl

"Our group of 20 bikers stayed here and received the best service ever. They shuttled us to downtown and picked us up when we done dining. Rooms were clean. Complimentary beverages were provided upon our arrival. Even provided a fire pit to party around in the parking lot. This is a real Mom & Pop place and I hope it stays that way."

"We stayed at the L & M Motel over Memorial Weekend. We were planning to hike at the Mississippi Palisade State Park, and not knowing what the weather would be, we decided to play it safe and get a motel room. After searching online, I called the L & M Motel and booked a room.
When we arrived, I was pleasantly surprised that the room was a suite. The owner personally walked us there, and showed us all the amenities. It was tastefully decorated, with a full refrigerator, stove, dishes, silverware and linens. A gas grill was available outside of the room for patrons use.
The location was good for us, just about 5 miles from the state park. The town of Savanna was just down the street, too. We were able to walk along the Mississippi and join other travelers at the local pubs for a few cocktails and socializing. This was a nice place to stay."
"There’s a pleasant, little secret in Savanna, Illinois. Just a block off the main road on a peaceful residential avenue, Granny O’Neil’s River Inn Bed & Breakfast eagerly awaits your arrival. You won’t meet Granny, but you’ll run into Bill Lease, the Inn’s proprietor and host. From the moment my wife and I arrived this past weekend, Bill treated us like long, lost family members. Bill’s extensive knowledge of the area transforms into hours of interesting talks by the fireplace. And, if his stories don’t captivate you, his cooking will. The warmly appointed accommodations are very clean and more than comfortable; but the one aspect that overrides all that is the delicious cuisine that starts your mornings. Bill provides some of the tastiest treats (from freshly baked breakfast cakes to deeply rich, satisfying coffees) we’ve ever had. If you’re even remotely in the area, it will be MORE than worth your while to drive through Savanna and visit Bill. You’ll feel right at home! (PS: Bill, our tastebuds miss your caramel/apple/cinnamon strudel…) "
"Bill was the best! The stay was so comfy, rooms & bathrooms were clean, the hospitality was amazing, he offered to drive us to and from to the Iron Horse-offered a great superb breakfast at the time we were ready, will we be back???? I will def be back!!!" Angie & Carlos
